Chances are that if you are pregnant and you want to move your body and keep active for as long as you can, that you have wondered what exercises that you should or shouldn’t do or looked for guidance on social media. Maybe you thought that that your postnatal body was completely healed from birth by six weeks and you had "recovered" and could go back to exercise.
Your amazing body takes nine months to grow a little human and the reality is that it takes months/years, and not weeks, for it to recover from birth. My job would be a lot easier if I could give you pregnancy or postnatal "safe" exercises, but the truth is that there is no definitive answer and there is no one size fits all approach. Pregnancy and birth are uncontrollable. Every woman has a different experience and so every woman’s pregnancy, birth or recovery is different.
One of the hardest things about pregnancy and postpartum is not feeling like yourself and letting go of your control over your body. I work with you to help you understand your body as it is now and what it needs and we work together to help you find freedom and fun in your movement again, while considering your long term pelvic health function.

Recently had a baby and want to return to exercise but not sure how?
6 week course, delivered online via Zoom. Learn how to correctly activate your pelvic floor and core while getting your body moving again. Incorporate this into the activities that you perform everyday as a Mum (squat, hinge, push, pull, rotate and balance).
